Hey, my street was a quiet dead-end until the development around us was finished. It was great. But we knew we bought that the street would connect to LSL, which would become a major thoroughfare and and exit and entrance to the subdivision.
Freeman Trail? Let’s be fair, your street is nothing like Croft is currently is or what Croft is proposed to be.
Yeah your street connects to LSL, but it’s short, and all around you are other roads to get people out of your subdivision that aren’t on your street. Deacon leads to the Mall. Bennet leads out to the mall and feeds to Thompson and is part of Ferguson that connects to LSL and goes right through the subdivision.
You’re also close to Kennedy Circle; another option to get in and out.
In short: no one breathed a major sigh of relief when your street opened up to LSL as the area is well serviced.
Croft is not only the only east/west way in and out of that subdivision in phase 1, but now it’s about to become a feeder street for a second subdivision as well. His street is being billed as an alternative to Derry Rd. That sucks!
You do see the difference there right?
I know we’re not likely to see the town/region change their mind on the absolutely horrible decision to close Fourth Line as that would be an admission of a mistake. But route hero, and everyone that lives near him, absolutely have a legitimate beef with what’s going on up there.
