....Tell me about your street, please. I don’t understand this at all. The other day we went for a drive to check out the other neighbourhoods. Btw, I am not in a Mattamy subdivision. When we drove around, the streets were quiet, kids were at the park, the houses were nice…..and when we came down my street, it’s like a war zone. Cars all over the place, kids playing and screaming in the middle of the road, people out on their porches yelling into the phone, etc. Parents also let their kids run wild well after 10pm as well….these houses are not cheap….what makes my street like this?? Does Mattamy attract better people? In a year we might be able to afford a new smaller detached, but we are scared to death to buy in a new neighbourhood again. The old part of town is $400 000 up to start.
Have a good one!
We are in Mattamy subdivision 14b, on the cress with Energy Saving Demo Homes. It is quiet here. Some people with kids, some not yet.
One or two party went on. Wasn't really loud, but we have to close our windows.
One house was sold for above 370, another is on sale under 370. Those are single car garages houses.
I don't know why it is so quiet. Perhaps because this part of subdivision hasn't got any semis or townhouses.
Mostly big, not as huge as others down south, but two cars garages big houses.
Before moving here we were at non-Mattamy only townhouses street. Just few hundreds meters away from this place we are now. We’ve got three young couples in front of us, living side-by-side. Lots of noise in the night through all of the summer. Some times it was loud, but most of the time just noisy front porch bla-bla-bla from 11pm to 4am. They didn’t show any disrespect, but were just too young to realise they have to take care about another people too.
