I may have posted about this before..
Here's what you need:
Enough 2" vac pipe and fittings to connect everything up in the basement to the garage
PVC glue
Pipe cutter large enough to cut 2" PVC
A 2.5" holesaw or self-feed bit for drilling from garage into basement along with a drill powerful enough for driving something that size
Caulking for filling in the gap around the pipe
22G or better wire to tie up all the switch wires and something to connect them all together
Level for keeping the vac unit plumb when hanging
Inlet plates to wire in and cover up all the holes in the wall
I'm sure there is a few other things I may be forgetting along the way.
It takes me an average of 3 hours to pipe a house from basement to garage, hang the vac, do all the cover plates, test the unit and show you how it works.
If you need any assistance, let me know.
