Our family drove over to the site this morning and it was beautiful, we miust have spent at least a half hour there picking up some nice rocks (our toddler's latest obsession) and enjoying our surroundings. The trees were full of leaves and just gorgeous, the birds were chirping and there was a really nice breeze all that was missing was our house and a cool drink in hand

It looks like they are going to be doing the underground work soon. There were stacks of blue and green pipes piled up for the water and sewage lines. Has anyone else been up to the site lately?
We went up about a weekend ago - there was a great blue heron in the pond and it looked lovely. Very peaceful. I only hope that the development won't scare away the natural wildlife.
We actually walked around the site looking for markers that indicate where our house will be built - but were unable to find our lot. I think that the lots are numbered differently on the site than they are on the Mattamy schedule B - I believe that the lot numbering system on the actual site corresponds to the City of Milton's plans.
I didn't notice the pile of pipes so that must be a new addition.
Also, I drove around the homes already built on Savoline boulevard south of Derry and Tramaine to search for a "Mill brook" - but to no avail. I did see several Balsam "B" models there.
If you have not been to that subdivision, I suggest maybe taking a look - it certainly gave me a better idea of what the exterior colours will actually look like on the house.
